Nah, it's pretty straightforward. You just print a label. You usually get store credit or a refund depending on why you're returning it, but the discount code won't mess it up.

Poshmark feels more like buying from individuals, so quality can be hit or miss. ThredUp is more curated, I think. They inspect things, so generally, the quality is more consistent on ThredUp.

The 50% off is usually pretty good for your first purchase. Black Friday usually has some big clearance sales, like up to 90% off on specific items, but it's not site-wide. Different kinds of deals.

It can vary a lot. Sometimes it's super fast, other times it takes a bit. I'd say plan for at least a week, maybe a bit more to be safe for NYC. You can track it though.

Honestly, depends on where it ships from. I've had stuff come in 3 days, and other times it's been like 10. For an event, I'd probably order it sooner than later or have a backup plan.
